Downsizing Help
in Calgary
Downsizing help in Calgary and the surrounding area. We sort, sell and clear, so you can move into a smaller home without facing the whole house at once.
Moving to a smaller home
Decades of belongings do not fit into a condo, and deciding what goes is the hard part. We do the sorting, the selling and the clearing, at whatever pace suits you.
Three steps,
at your pace
Nothing happens until you are ready for it.

Free walkthrough
We come to the home, look at what is there, and talk through what you keep, sell or leave. No cost, no obligation.
Sort and price
We separate what moves with you from what stays. Everything that stays is catalogued and priced – furniture, art, tools, the lot.
Sell and clear
We run the sale on site, coordinate donations for what does not sell, and hand the home back empty and swept.
You keep what matters
Four jobs, handled end to end, so you are never left with a garage full of decisions.

Deciding what comes
We walk the house room by room with you. Nothing is sold, donated or moved without your say-so, and if you want to know what something is worth first, we can arrange an estate appraisal.

Selling what stays
Furniture, jewellery, art, tools, collections. Catalogued, priced properly, and sold on site through a full estate sale rather than given away.

Donation and removal
What does not sell goes to charities we work with, or is removed responsibly. You never have to deal with the truck or the dump run.

Leaving it clean
The home is handed back empty and swept, ready for a realtor, a buyer or the landlord — on the date you gave us.
That last part matters more than people expect. A house that still has furniture in it shows badly, delays a listing and gives buyers something to negotiate against. If it needs more than clearing, we can also handle preparing the property for sale.
The move is rarely the hard part
Few people downsize because they want less room. They do it because a four-bedroom house has stopped earning its keep – heating one through a Calgary winter can run past $400 a month, and the weekends go on a yard nobody uses any more (Calgary.com).
Then comes the part nobody warns you about. Advisors who help people leave long-term homes say the same worry comes up before any other: what happens to my things? After thirty or forty years in one house, almost everyone owns more than they picture – and by a rule of thumb often quoted in downsizing advice, we use roughly a fifth of it most of the time (Comfort Life).
Sorting a lifetime of belongings is exhausting, and it is hard to do alone when every second object carries a memory. That is the part we take on – and the part people tell us they are most relieved to hand over.
